When Your Mind Gets Stuck in Loops…
You might find yourself constantly thinking about your relationship—replaying conversations, analyzing what was said or meant, and always feeling on edge. You may find yourself replaying interactions, analyzing what something meant, or trying to figure out what’s “true” or what to do.
This doesn’t only happen in romantic relationships. It can show up with friends, family, bosses, or anyone you care about.
You might notice:
Replaying interactions over and over
Searching for certainty about your feelings
Obsessing over whether something is “off”
Feeling like you can’t relax or trust what’s real
Feeling on edge or unsettled
Urgency to figure it out
Even when things are objectively okay, your system stays on high alert.
How I Can Support You
In our work together, we focus on helping you step out of these loops so you can think more clearly and feel more settled.
We’ll work with what’s happening in real time—both the thoughts and the underlying patterns driving them. That might include self-doubt, fear of getting it wrong, or a need for certainty that never quite lands.
You’ll learn how to:
Interrupt rumination without getting pulled deeper into it
Recognize when your mind is looping vs. when something needs attention
Reduce compulsive checking, analyzing, and reassurance-seeking
Build tolerance for uncertainty without spiraling
Feel more grounded and less on edge in your body
regulate anxiety using somatic coping skills and mindful self-compassion
I integrate structured approaches like self-compassion-based exposure work with somatic IFS therapy, so you have both clear, actionable tools and space to process what’s underneath.
The goal isn’t to force clarity—it’s to help you relate to your thoughts differently, so you can respond from a more steady and trusting place.
