Integrating Spirituality with Therapy
I work with people who either have a spiritual practice or are curious to explore their spirituality, including how spiritual practice can support their healing in therapy. I honor people’s different spiritual traditions- whether nondual, Buddhist, yogic, indigenous, or something more personal and undefined- meeting each person where they are in their practice.
Across these different paths is a shared human longing: the desire both to belong and to become. Cultivating a spiritual home within ourselves offers a sense of belonging that gives us the grounding to grow, change, and become more fully who we are. Because we are fundamentally interconnected, finding that home within can also deepen our connection to others, our communities, and our place in the world.

My Approach
My approach integrates somatic mindfulness, trauma-informed care, relational therapy, and contemplative spiritual practice. Sessions may include guided meditation, cultivating self-compassion and compassion for others, connecting with intuition, exploring the authentic self, and deepening relationship to spirit, inner wisdom, or higher consciousness.
My studies with Thomas Hübl inform how I attend to presence and relational attunement, especially the ways personal, ancestral, and collective trauma can affect our sense of connection. Together, we notice what arises in the body and between us, including protective patterns or moments of disconnection, without pressure to change.
Rather than bypassing painful emotions in the name of spirituality, my approach honors emotional wounds, attachment patterns, and trauma responses as meaningful parts of the healing process. Spirituality becomes not an escape from our humanity, but a way of relating to ourselves and others with greater presence, compassion, awareness, and connection.
I also support clients integrating transpersonal or plant medicine experiences. We explore their meaning- whether a sense of oneness, spiritual guidance, or connection with nature- while staying grounded in emotions, attachment patterns, and everyday life.

Buddhist-Based Therapy
My work is rooted in a Buddhist-informed approach to living- one that centers awareness, compassion, and a different relationship to the mind.Rather than relying exclusively on eliminating stress or controlling every aspect of life, I help people relate to their experiences differently. I support clients in learning how to be with what’s here, without immediately reacting, fixing, or pushing it away.
Through mindfulness, I help clients notice the patterns of the mind- how it grasps, worries, plans, and judges- and how those patterns create additional suffering on top of what’s already difficult.
At the same time, I help people cultivate a more compassionate and steady way of being with themselves. Not driven by pressure or self-criticism, but by awareness and grace. This doesn’t remove the realities of stress, uncertainty, or pain. But it changes how you meet them- and that shift can fundamentally alter your experience of life.
For clients who want to bring their Buddhist practice into therapy, our work may include chanting, metta meditation, Tonglen, Feeding Your Demons, and other Buddhist practices.
